The Gulbene city coat of arms is one of the official symbols of the city of Gulbene. Approved on September 30, 1938.
The coat of arms depicts a swimming silver swan on a black background, whose name is incorporated into the city's name. The idea for the swan image was taken from a bas-relief that was on the facade of the former Vecgulbene manor tavern.
In 1967, a new city coat of arms with a swan on the background of the Latvian SSR flag was approved.
In 1989, a decision was made to restore Gulbene's historical coat of arms with a silver swan on a black shield.
