The coat of arms of Rūjiena is one of the official symbols of the city of Rūjiena. Approved on October 31, 1925.
The shield of the coat of arms is divided into two parts. In the lower, larger part of the shield, on a red background, there is a golden sheaf of grain, symbolizing prosperity. In the upper part of the shield, on a golden background, there are three blue flax flowers. The flax flowers indicate that the city had well-developed flax cultivation and processing.
