Technology: Sublimation (CMYK colors) high resolution with thermal color fixation.
Finishing: hemmed edges with snap hooks or a tunnel along the shorter side.
The flag of Jaunjelgava municipality features Sēlija colors because this municipality was historically part of Sēlija. The flag uses the primary colors of the Sēlija region – the municipal coat of arms is placed on a crimson and green flag. The flag was consecrated in 2011 by Lutheran pastor Ģirts Grietiņš and Catholic priest Uldis Cēsnieks.
