Jēkabpils Municipality Flag – a Symbol of Cultural and Natural Heritage
Celebrate the rich cultural and natural heritage of Jēkabpils with its officially registered flag. The Ministry of Culture, after reviewing the application from Jēkabpils Municipality, decided on October 11, 2022, to register the coat of arms approved by the State Heraldry Commission.
Coat of Arms Description: The coat of arms depicts a green spruce tree on a silver field with a lynx in natural colors in the foreground. It is surrounded by a red border divided by a gold cross.
