The coat of arms of Olaine city is one of the official symbols of Olaine city. Approved in 1998. The author of the coat of arms is Imants PurviÅÅ¡.
The shield of the coat of arms is diagonally divided into two parts from the upper left, silver and green. The silver part depicts three red drops of blood, two in the upper row and one in the lower. The blood drops symbolize health and life, as the city is home to the pharmaceutical factory Olainfarm. The green part depicts a black cranberry sprig with silver leaves and red berries, symbolizing the peat bogs in the Olaine region. Both of these symbols represent the manufacturing companies that have contributed to the city's growth.
