The coat of arms of Rūjiena city is one of the official symbols of Rūjiena city. Approved on October 31, 1925. The shield of the coat of arms is divided into two parts. In the lower, larger part of the shield, on a red background, a golden sheaf of grain is depicted, symbolizing prosperity. In the upper part of the shield, on a golden background, three blue flax flowers are depicted. The flax flowers indicate that flax cultivation and processing were well-developed in the city.
